SPRAY DIAGRAMS

• Ask and agree on what you want to work on, and write it in the middle (example: Fist Nations harnessing communication technologies)
• "Spray" your ideas, everyone's ideas count
• First: put down major themes or topics (example: education, health, etc.)
• Second: connect ideas that relate to the major themes (example: off-reserve education, diabetes)
• Third: add on other ideas that relate to the above
• When to stop: when you have had enough when you can stop and nothing important has been missed

RICH PICTURES

• show main topics
• draw pictures
• ask "who?" and include names (people, organizations)
• show linkages, add what is exchanged (communication tools)
