Arrival times varied throughout the day for all the conference participants (see PARTICIPANTS for a list of everyone who participated in the gathering).

Preparing the meeting room involved developing a SMART site to support the various activities and demonstrations planned for the gathering. Here our trusty Network Manager (Dan Pellerin) works hard to run cable and get everything working the way it should.
The final product (what a technical jungle - our next building will be a lot SMARTER :) ... this set up involved running cable for the video conferencing unit, building the local area network for the portable computer lab we brought from Sioux Lookout, making sure there were sufficient electrical outlets, testing all the equipment, and arranging the furniture for the 30 participants.

The CONFERENCE PACKAGE was available for those people that dropped by that evening to browse the Internet in the meeting room.
