Canada representatives, Bernie Blake, General Manager and Caren
Nasmith, Customer Relations Manager for Northwestern Ontario
made the trip to Red Lake to meet with First Nation members
and learn about our efforts and visions for telecommunication
services in the Keewaytinook Okimakanak First Nations. During
lunch they met with Raymond Mason, Keewaywin First Nation Band
Councillor, Chief Cameron Rae and Deputy Chief Jimmy Rae of
North Spirit Lake and Keewaytinook Okimakanak technical advisors.
Efforts to get telephone services in Keewaywin and North Spirit
Lake in a timely and cost effective manner were the focus of
these discussions. |

Bernie Blake addressed the conference participants, sharing
his vision and efforts to develop and support a quality telecommunication
service in Northwestern Ontario. |
