Kasmira Warbrooke

Kasmira works as Kairangahau (Researcher) for the Tühoe Education Authority. Her tribal affiliations are to Tühoe and Ngati Kahungungu. Kasmira has a Bachelor of Arts from Victoria University of Wellington with a double major in Social Policy and Criminology. She came to TEA in October 2000 after graduating, and was primarily responsible for assisting with the development of five strategic plans for implementation into the schools that TEA works alongside. These plans represent the issues, dreams, and aspirations expressed by the Tühoe rohe schools to raise the achievement levels of Tühoe children so that they can enjoy the success that is achieved by others. "I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the inspirational team, that are TEA staff and trust members; School Boards of Trustee’s; Principals, teachers, Tühoe whänau and tamariki, and the Ministry of Education. I look forward to embarking on the many challenges that lie ahead in achieving our vision of ‘Excellence in Education’".
