The
last step included a reflection of all the tools we used, both planning
and electronic tools:
PLANNING TOOLS:
- Program Folders (poster,
agenda, reference documents)
- Flip Chart Paper
- Cards on Expectations
- Spray Diagrams
- Rich Pictures
- Post-It Notes: for
planning activities for indicators for evaluation
|
ELECTRONIC TOOLS:
- Laptop computer
- Projector
- Digital Camera
- Digital Video Camera
- Teleconference using
convenor phone (Dr. McLaughlin)
- Video about video
conferencing

What is important here is to
realize that we need both kinds of tools, planning tools to plan with
communities, and communication tools to help us harness the technology
and connect to people and sources of information. For the evaluation,
we were given instructions to take two post it notes (one blue, one yellow).
We were to look back at the wall (with the card groups of our expectations
from the beginning of the workshop) and take the post it notes and place
them me where we learnt the most and what to work on next. This gave the
workshop group an idea on where exactly everyone was at, and where they
want to go next.
